A unique
new half-day event has been added to this year’s Northern
Ontario Business Awards program. The “Emerging Leaders”
conference takes place in Sudbury on Thursday, October 6 at
the Holiday Inn, beginning at 7:30 a.m.
It focuses on succession planning for communities. Keynote speaker,
renowned Canadian author David Foot, co-authored Boom, Bust
& Echo.
”Emerging
Leaders” will be of interest to young entrepreneurs, aspiring
owners, professionals and students, as well as to established
business people and community leaders.
If you have
remained in Northern Ontario, recently re-located to the North,
or if you are a new Northerner (or someone contemplating moving
to Northern Ontario), this conference will be of particular
interest.
Northern
Ontario Business is working in conjunction with the Greater
Sudbury Development Corporation and the Sudbury/Manitoulin Workforce
Partnerships Board to put on this unique new initiative.
